These fire starters are made from vegetable oil so they aren't flammable or toxic. I've been hearing these are getting more and more popular in Europe (these are from Denmark), makes sense to have them here in the USA as well. Product worked very well, lit a few blocks and they stayed lit for around 10 minutes, more than enough time to get things started. Definitely recommend giving them a try. This product is wonderful! It works just like the item's description states. I did try using two instead of three for starting fires in a medium size wood stove and that worked just fine. I used some kindling with this, but not as much as usual, and the two worked great for getting the fire going. Finally a product that works, and is not bad for our health, and does not stink :) |
